Waiting for Godot Prospects for resolving the Bulgaria–North Macedonia dispute

Since 2020, Bulgaria has blocked the start of EU accession negotiations with North Macedonia, arguing that Skopje has failed to implement certain provisions of bilateral agreements. Previously, other member states had taken similar steps.
